Casa Serena looks at you as a whole person, not just your diagnosis. Our philosophy is different from other treatment centers. We want this to be the last time you go through residential treatment for mental health and substance use disorder, so we have designed your experience to be truly comprehensive. We focus specifically on the issues women in particular face when struggling to maintain sobriety and manage their mental health. We help you understand why you keep cycling back through the process, and provide a wall of support as you explore the root causes of this behavior. As you begin to emerge from this self-discovery with a shift in perspective, we then help you create the life you have always wanted, but could not figure out how to get.
Medication management is often the first step in understanding how some mental health disorders can be controlled in combination with various therapeutic approaches. Upon admission to our residential program, you will receive a complete psychiatric evaluation with continued follow up as clinically indicated throughout your stay.
It is hard to find balance in your life when one minute you feel happy, the next minute you find yourself in a rage over something, and the next minute you feel drained of all energy. All our therapies are designed to increase your resilience around emotional tolerance, helping you off the roller coaster of emotions and appropriately navigate the many feelings we all experience throughout our day.
We understand your mental health and substance use has likely derailed your career or education goals, and profound isolation is often the result. We address each unique need through our case management program, offering many different options to prepare you for your new life once you leave our care.
